Reconstructions II. - The German rowing club

2012, lightening on lost building

The building for the ethnic German rowing association ‘Donau’, on the right bank of the Danube, is a key work of architect Josef Konrad, displaying his first shift towards the ideas of the new Functionalist architecture. This building was archive od Slovak Television and since 2005 it is abandoned. This part of city is dark during night, so I chose lightening as intervention of reborn of this important architecture.
